It is with joy, pride, and a bit of nostalgia that I write this note to you today. Nearly two decades ago, I founded VitalRemedyMD in order to create the premier nutritional supplement company. Too many shoddy companies existed, selling worthless or even harmful products to unwitting customers. I saw patients in my practice who understood the value of supplements but did not know how to find the best ones for them. In order to offer my patients and others scientifically-sound supplements of the highest caliber, I started VitalRemedyMD (VRMD). My physician wife Laura and I have stayed true to the mission, as exemplified by our designing VitalOils1000, the first omega-3 fish oil supplement in the world to contain a full 1,000 mg of combined DHA and EPA in a single enteric coated soft gel.

VitalOils1000 has been our flagship product for the last 13 years and I am very proud that we have been able to help so many people take the omega-3 supplement of their choice. For some time though Laura and I have wanted to bring you more supplements of the same stature as VitalOils1000. Recognizing that to do so would require significant additional resources we put out feelers to see if we could find the right help. I am thrilled to report that we had far more success than we could have ever imagined.

We found the perfect individual, Dr. Peter Lembke.  Please allow me to introduce you to the new owner of VitalRemedyMD.

Dr. Lembke received his PhD in Applied Physical Chemistry. His thesis in Supercritical Fluid Chromatography paved the way for the purification and concentration technology used today to produce VitaOils1000.

I met Dr. Lembke many years ago, when I served as Treasurer of the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids. At a European Congress Dr. Lembke and I discussed his groundbreaking research in the purification of fish oils and shortly after that meeting, VRMD began to manufacture VitalOils1000 under his watchful eye. His Supercritical Fluid Technology has continued to make VitalOils1000 an outstanding fish oil, in many respects unparalleled by any other. As a scientist, Dr. Lembke has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. He has received 7 patents and delivered over 50 lectures at International Conferences. He is truly world renowned. But Dr. Lembke is much more than a scientist; he is also an immensely successful businessman. He has been so successful that in 2015 he was elected among the top five Entrepreneurs of the Year in Germany.

Since receiving his PhD, Dr. Lembke has held such high-level positions as Chief Scientific Officer of the Bioseutica Group and Vice President and Director of Sales at KD Pharma.

Additionally, in 2002, Dr. Lembke founded his own nutritional supplement company in Spain, Beps Biopharm SL, specializing in highly bioavailable premium Omega-3 formulations. Beps Biopharm´s expertise lies in the scientifically based combination of highly concentrated EPA and/or DHA with other bioactive natural extracts such as Vitamins, Ginkgo, Schisandra or Bilberry extracts, achieving unique natural synergies for health and wellbeing. 

He has grown his company in Europe, but until now, he has not had a presence in the US. With VitalRemedyMD, Dr. Lembke can now bring his own brand to our country while also continuing the legacy we have started with VitalRemedyMD. I can think of no one better than Dr. Lembke to take VitalRemedyMD to the next level.

His scientific zeal, commitment to quality, honesty, integrity, intellect, and vision will ensure that you are well cared for. I am thrilled that he has decided to take over the company and I am confident you will be as well.
