Frustrated with the lack of quality headbands that don't give headaches or slide off, Leah Kay began making headbands with her mom's sewing machine in 2016. It wasn't long before friends and family started requesting custom-made headbands and she accidentally stumbled into her first business. Comfort and style have always won her over, hence our signature butter soft fabric made from high-quality bamboo spandex. One of Leah's passions is encouraging others to live life to their fullest, to learn from the valleys and to always keep improving yourself. Our infamous Soulvation logo, the double arrow, was a tattoo Leah first got when she quit her doctoral schooling to pursue entrepreneurship. The arrows signify following your own path, and to keep moving forward regardless of what life throws your way. Now our official logo in 2020, we hope that when you see our logo it reminds you to keep moving forward, no matter what.

Now in 2024, we have a new owner, Alexah. In 2019 she was no longer happy with her job as a police officer and was wanting something else, which is when she found Soulvation. Alexah started as an order packer and quickly worked her way up to Chief Operations Officer. When it was time for Leah's next adventure, Alexah acquired Soulvation. And now, Alexah continues to design our headbands and new products with our growing team in Denver, Colorado.
