It was an evening in the summer 2014, our partners were invited to a bbq party at one of our good friends houses. The evening progressed nicely, meet and greet, few beers in hand, the smell of char grilled beef tinting the air, the mad uncle running a muck in his Bermuda shorts.. you picture the scene. Anyways, We were talking to a few friends of friends and we started talking about cars in general and then on to car mats and car interior styling etc. They all agreed and were complaining about the lack of selection of nicely finished luxury car mats on the market…. then came the ‘Oh really moment’ ? From that point we set out to research the market and get feedback of what people wanted in custom made luxury car mats, and to make them stand out from the crowd. We spent time studying car interiors and interviewing people. We started hand picking colors and styles we thought would suit most vehicle interiors available on the market today. We performed thorough material field tests for durability and performed random surveys to everyday people on the street as well as avid car enthusiasts to gain market feedback.
