We do our best to process and mail out orders the same day India Sweets & Spices began in Culver City, CA in 1984 with a pioneering concept to provide food and grocery in a single brick-and-mortar location. Founded by Kumar Jawa, the name would grow in recognition for its innovative concept, expansion of locations, and community focus including an annual free food event where anyone and everyone can enjoy a vegetarian and vegan meal at no cost. Jawa is also a founding member of the India Association of Los Angeles which hosts the India Independence Day celebration every year in the San Fernando Valley. Today, India Sweets & Spices and the Jawa family continues to proudly serve the public from the India Sweets & Spices locations in the Atwater Village neighborhood near Griffith Park and in the Park La Brea neighborhood near LACMA. |
